Indika Kurti, Wildflower
Styled after the Phiran Tunics worn by the women in Kashmir, each kurti with its intricate feather-work stitch is embroidered by hand in the region of Lucknow in north-eastern India.
The embroidery thread starts out as white thread, and is hand-dyed by the artisans to match each piece. This is what gives the embroidery its tone-on-tone shading. It is also what makes each piece unique; so do note that embroidery colour varies from what is shown online!
